Ride Features
The Ma-10 spine of the Tramuntana end to end: Sa Calobra’s ten kilometres of sculpted hairpins (ridden early, before the coaches arrive — timing is everything on this climb), Puig Major, the lighthouse road to Cap de Formentor, and the old cobblestone-era hairpins of the Coll de Sóller, which most visitors bypass through the tunnel and locals treasure for exactly that reason. Quieter days roll through the Orient valley and the almond plains of the island’s interior.
Food & Drink
Long lunches in Fornalutx and the port of Sóller — freshly caught fish, tumbet, oranges from the valley’s own groves — and the obligatory warm ensaïmada with mid-ride coffee. Mallorca’s wine scene, centred on Binissalem, rarely exports and rewards attention; we know which cellar will open their doors for a small group.
Sightseeing & Culture
Valldemossa’s monastery (and its famous coca de patata), the artists’ refuge of Deià clinging to its hillside, Palma’s Gothic cathedral rising off the harbour, and the honey-stone villages of the Tramuntana — a UNESCO World Heritage landscape in their own right.
Accommodation
In 4-star hotel chosen for position as much as comfort — direct access to the Tramuntana with no morning transfers, proper bike storage, and a pool deck that faces the mountains you just crossed. Mallorca’s cycling hotels are among the best in Europe, and we work only with the ones that earn that reputation.
