Old Town, GironaGirona
[ OVERVIEW ]Girona is where professional cyclists choose to live, and after one week on these roads, you’ll understand why. Quiet, perfectly surfaced lanes leave the medieval old town in every direction: the volcanic hills of La Garrotxa, the coves of the Costa Brava, and the climbs the pros ride every winter. This is our home. We know every road, every café stop, and every hidden corner. This trip shows you the version of Girona only locals see.

World class riding through the heart of Catalunya
Ride Features
The climbs the pros test themselves on, ridden the way locals ride them: Rocacorba’s relentless upper slopes, the sanctuary road to Els Àngels, the long, silent approach to Mare de Déu del Mont with half of Catalonia spread out below, and Sant Grau rising out of the cork forests above the sea. Between the mountains, the winding coastal road of the Costa Brava — cove after cove of Mediterranean blue on a ribbon of perfect tarmac. Routes are shaped daily around the group, and we know which roads are quiet on which mornings.
Food & Drink
Girona’s food scene is genuinely world-class. The province holds a remarkable concentration of Michelin stars, crowned by El Celler de Can Roca, twice named the best restaurant in the world. We can arrange tables that are otherwise hard to come by. Between rides, the city’s third-wave coffee culture — much of it built by ex-professional riders — makes the mid-morning stop a ritual in itself.
Sightseeing & Culture
One of Europe’s best-preserved medieval centres: the cathedral’s baroque steps, Roman foundations, and the painted houses stacked above the river Onyar. All of it two minutes’ walk from your hotel door, best explored in the golden hour after the ride.
Accommodation
Girona offers a fine selection of 4-star hotels suited to every taste — historic old-town properties, contemporary boutique addresses — and the city has learned to look after cyclists properly: secure bike storage, early riders’ breakfasts, and staff who don’t blink at cleat covers on marble floors. We match the hotel to your group.
